Inter Trans Insurance Services, Inc. (ITI), a closely held California Corporation, was established in 1978 for the express purpose of providing specialized transit insurance coverage for domestic and international shipments of household goods and personal effects. This service is marketed to moving companies, freight forwarders and corporations. ITI is currently providing coverage for well over 400 forwarding operations and corporate accounts worldwide. ITI also provides third party claim services to moving companies and relocation firms.

The insurance certificate that is issued to our clients is, we believe, the best available on the market. We have tried to eliminate many of the legal and insurance language common to most policies so the shipper has a better understanding of the terms and conditions of the contract.

Our claims department in Irvine, California has over 100 years of collective claims experience and is the backbone of our fine reputation. It is company policy to acknowledge and settle all claims as soon as possible. Due to the very high volume of moving claims handled by ITI, we rely heavily on the internet communication for pictures and professional estimates to help expedite claims.
